Most of the footage from a practice animated short film I worked on (on and off again) for a span of four to five years.
Though this version still leaves much to be desired, it was my first foray into animation and it taught me a great deal about the technique. Apologies for the choppy animation and overall amateurishness.
Still, I hope to improve upon the concept of an animated poliziotteschi and create an actual polished short film. Until then, a new, more polished version of the trailer can be viewed here:

The movie is an animated homage to the Italian poliziotteschi genre of films and takes place in Milan in the year 1976. The film stars Maurizio Merli, Henry Silva, Lee Van Cleef, Tomas Milian, Klaus Kinski, Franco Nero, Antonio Sabàto, Fabio Testi, Ursula Andress, Adolfo Celi, Nello Pazzafini, Giuseppe Castellano, Riccardo Petrazzi , Tommaso Palladino, Romano Puppo, Antonio Casale , Luciano Catenacci, Adolfo Lastretti, Biagio Pelligra, Gastone Moschin, Giovanni Cianfriglia, and others.
Drawn, animated, edited, and directed by Chad Kaplan.
Featuring music by Ennio Morricone, Goblin, Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, Franco Micalizzi, Detto Mariano, and Bixio-Frizzi-Tempera.
