But the Talibs foolishly chose to stick with one terrorist than its own people (unlike the Arabs-Saudi Arabia gave him up, Sudan gave him up) and in the end...Osama was found living comfortably in Pakistan while the Afghans are bleeding left and right.

Taliban use ambush tactics...it makes sense (look what happened to the Iraqi army when the Americans entered Iraq from Kuwait). The Taliban reduce their group numbers and separate themselves in mountainous regions of Afghanistan...again it makes sense (UAVs, helicopters, jets, and satellites are all over Afghanistan hunting the Taliban).
This Afghan war has nothing to do with "crusading"...if the Talibs gave up Osama after 9/11, no one would have invaded Afghanistan.

toe-to-toe against tanks and A-10s? I don't think so. They didn't do the same with the invading Soviets. Look at your country's history during the war of independence, your forefathers resorted to guerrilla warfare against the red coats. Only an idiot would fight toe-to-toe with a far superior enemy and even the Taliban acknowledge that NATO has the firepower but they don't have the time and patience.
