I would use a coat hanger and attach it to the end of the wire, then use the hanger like a fish tape and pull the wire through the wall..

In California and all states, and according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), that is only legal for Class 2 wiring. Class 2 would be wiring for signals with voltages at or below 48 volts. i.e.: phone, cable TV, sat TV, antenna wires, ethernet, door bell, garage door opener switches, and the like. But any such hole thru a wall, is against building codes for any purpose.
