the acting may have been good, but do ya'll realize that EVERY accent in there except for Dolly was HORRIBLE!!! they ALL suck bad..especially Olympia Dukakis...horrible beyond words!!!!!!

Listen again. And how is it that I got the character's name wrong? Is Tom Skeritt's name in the movie not "Drum?" Last time I checked it was. If you're so smart, what was Tom's character's name? Trumpet? Ha ha!

@Sylwong1 It's Drum Eatenton (his last name) and she smiled at the son of a bitch before she could help herself. You may think you know all the words, but you get them in the wrong places...not to mention that you got the character's name wrong.

this is my favorite scene. weezer is funny as hell. even though i've seen this film a number of times, i always try to catch this scene.

I love this movie! My friend Lori and I know ALL the words to this movie, especially the funny parts. We both love being Ouiser and Clairee. "I'm pleasant! Damn it, I just saw Drum eating at the Piggly Wiggly and I smiled at the son of a bitch! I couldn't help myself!"

This part is sooo funny!!
Ouiser is soo hilarious when she says:
"I do not see plays because i can nap at home for free.
And i dont see movies because their trash,and they got nothing but naked people in them,and i dont read books because if their any good,their gonna make them into a miniseries"
And also: "I am pleasent...dammit" and
"Annelle,you take your bible and shove it where the sun doesnt shine" XD hahahah
