(Cont...) I mentioned this issue to the staff and was told to find keyboards on a translation site (easier said than done), type in a word doc, copy and paste--forget that! It's a hassle. I would rather just pay for a comp. program (and I did). But why? If a keyboard is available for Spanish/French, why not the others? It makes no sense and isn't fair. Livemocha is a GREAT idea / tool for some lang., but not so great with others; so until the virtual keyboard issue is fixed, I won't be back.

These surface feature updates are all fine and good, but there is a deeper functioning issue that prevents language learning that really needs to be addressed: keyboards for special characters. I have tried repeatedly to learn Hindi, Turkish. However, I can only go so far in my learning because I'm not able to practice writing b/c you don't offer a keyboard for special characters; it's ridiculous. If there's a keyboard for Spanish, why not Turkish? Continued in next post...

The first lesson on Livemocha which is called ' Introduction' is helpful. However,I think that you need to make a flashcard set of the alphabet in that lesson. Learning the proper pronunciation of the alphabet of any language is very very important . Nobody would deny this. Therefore,It would be better If the introduction lesson would be about the alphabet.
BTW, the voice actress did a wonderful job. If she's only a regular staff member at the company, then she might want to look into doing voice acting for this type of thing on the side professionally.
