Fatima Spar & the Freedom Fries

Music sounds like swing and some ska. Live performance at If! Bar in the Kavaklidere neighborhood of Ankara, Turkey. Recorded on the night of the 18th of March 2010. FYI - our hosts said this Thursday night was less crowded than Fridays and Saturdays. I'm not sure the venue could get more crowded.

BTW don't flush the paper in the tuvalet. There's a rubbish bin to prevent clogs I guess... The bar also serves a fruit-flavored beer called Mariachi. Although there is a cactus on the label, it is a Turkish beer -- brewed by Efes.
