  • You have some wonderful photos here. It's good to remember the generations before us who served their countries, and the countless women who served as nurses in the world wars. God bless them all.

  • Nice rendition. Deanna Durbin also sang this with great feeling in 1941/2. It always reminds people of Nurse Cavell's death by the Germans in 1915. Write to British Post, as I have done, and try to get them to produce a commemorative postage stamp in 2015 on the 100th Anniversary of her martyrdom. A great song!!!
