Deux grands classiques de Gaume... C'est loin d'être parfait, mais c'est une spéciale dédicace pour Topophotos !
Two local songs from Gaume, not so perfect but just for Topophotos.

  • Really nice! I hjad a Mustel Harmonium with Prolongment 25+ years ago and it was the best Reed Organ of all. Alas, I had to sell. In my opinion, the Harmoniums are far better than the suction Reed Organs in both sound and attack abilities. Currently restoring an 1879 Clough and Warren with Qualifying Chambers. For a suction reed organ, I must admit it is very impressive. Has 16,8 and 4' stops. A total of 4-1/2 set of reeds plus Sub Bass and coupler.

  • @Musique3579 Argh, a Mustel. that's what I would like too ! It's like a Rolls-Royce for french harmoniums... In fact, I agree with you : attack is more 'fine' in french (good) manufacturers. Reed-organs are more softer in the 'climate' they create, more house instruments than most of harmoniums. But they are exceptions :)

  • Nice to see you again! This piece was kind of funny! You played one of my favorite of your organs too.
