On the first of Januari 2009 I found my Uromastyx a. nigriventris mating for the first time this year!!! Hopefully I will have eggs again and a bunch of new baby's...

did you change you light cycle for them to mate or did they just mate? ours are not old enough yet, but i have been old by another breeder that if you make them think it the season to mate that more of the eggs are fertile and it is easier on the female.

too right I hate the fact that people are buying wild caught but I wouldn't want to anyway because you can get a stressed out animal that is vulnerable to disease and then have to pay a big vet fee

I have a question, can you help me on understanding how to recognize if my Uromastyx Aegyptia is male or Female?

Hi! You can see the spurs at his or hers rear legs. (if there big it's probably a male) Also the head of a male is a bit bigger. How old is your Aegyptica?

Yeah good luck, i have apair of the Geryi species so hopefully i'll see the same thing happening myself! ..
