A short clip demonstrating the nimble nature of the PDRacer.

It's a very stable trainer, but also very responsive to helm and sail trim. Watch as Michael Storer at the helm, gybes while standing as if to confirm the stability, and completes several circles and figures of eight in almost the boats length.

  • Cheers leezack72, the music is a stock clip from Apple's iMovie.

  • Yep, they are completely stupid and highly addictive.

Cheap? About the cost of a good night out, and it doesn't get any better than that!

  • Fantastic seamanship.

  • Wow, a sailing coffin. All it needs is a long handle on each side.

  • i just bought one like this. It's so cute!!

  • I'ts a big optimist...

  • I'm starting my build tonight.

  • The video is one of the reasons that made me to build a boat.:)

  • Omg I want one!!!! Where I live theres bajillions of lakes!

  • wanna try a virtual nightmare? Take a pdracer out on a body of water like San Diego Bay with light winds and have them kick up when you're about a mile from shore. Still, for less than $110 you can build a pdracer and fabricate your sail so I can't kick too much. Mine's has lasted 3 years so I have to say I've gotten my money's worth.
