God damn it al. uggghhh. If only I'd known, but how could I? What could I have done? I bought some art yesterday at the Orlando Megacon that you had pencilled. Your death so recent that I was the one who told an artist, bill sienkewiecz. He related that when he was a teen he had a teenage friend commit suicide on his (bill's) birthday. His friend a short time before asked what it would be like to kill himself. Bill misunderstood it as a philosophical discussion. It's so hard to tell.

I have this DVD. It's great. I have sad news to those who do not know yet. Al died this morning. He committed suicide .

It's a shame. Al Rio speaks Portuguese, so I imagine that the entire DVD is subtitled. Am I really expected to read what Al has to say and pay attention to what he's drawing at the same time? Ridiculous! This could be done much better as a book if we have to read it.
