I can't wait to see the summit. I've watched it for the last 4 or 5 years. Tavis, you always keep it interesting (and you somehow manage to keep everything under control). Good luck! I'll be watching.

Question: why does PBS always cut into the first few minutes of your show? We should be able to see 100% of your show - not that guy sitting on a planet talking about the stars for the first few minutes that you should be on (I like him too, but he needs his own show or time slot).

I celebrate Black History all Year every year

Where I used to work, we had Black History Month special emphasis programs that were REALLY not worth the trouble. A few (~maybe five out of twenty) presented verifiable AND worthwhile items of historical relevance, but most offered only well-known stuff about twenty or so well-known African-Americans PLUS a mishmash of historical fictions and irrelevant drivel.
