Autodromo di Monza
I saw these cars during the Italian Grand Prix of Formula 1.
The GP2 cars have been designed and produced by Dallara Automobili with a V8 Renault engine, which can produce about 600hp. This series is the "last level" before the master class: the F1.
I recorded the cars during the Friday qualyfing before the Parabolica curve: some of them made fantastic flames!!! ;)
The second part of the video is about the Formula 1. I recorded them when they were at the Variante Ascari.

  • Cmon, this is lame.

The real F1 who I liked, where the 1998-2008 cars and the V10s!

10.000 rpms 2013 is gonna be so fucking boring.

I wanna destroy my ears by hearing 20.000 rpms!!!!

  • @Marcus666Sund They peaked in terms of the screams around the end of the V10 era so between 2001 and 2005 when as you say they cranked upto 20,000rpm which is unbelievable, however I still think the nicest most raw sounding era was the V12's especially around 1994/95 with the Ferrari's, only V12's I've heard lately are the Superleague Formula series cars which although only rev around 11 to 12,000rpm still sounds unbelievable and give the F1's revving to 18,000 a run for thier money!

  • @Marcus666Sund Totally agree with you there Marcus, the 2013 F1's will only be V6 although apparently include turbo's but they wont sound anywhere near as good as the old turbo's from the 80's which produced over 1000bhp whereas the next generation of F1's will only be approx 600bhp roughly the same as a GP2 car which sounds ok but rather flat compared with what they sound like currently with the 18,000rpm V8's producing 750bhp, and even the current F1's sound natty compared with the old schools

  • awesome, better than F1 today

also gives me chills as it is taken exactly at the same spot as this

  • I Agree Down there kevinmosley1

  • Those GP2 cars are great!! The downshifts sound so awesome! Of course the F1 cars are spectacular! So agressive! Great filming place for the F1s
