I'm a liberal and yes I have held and shot a gun. And guess what? I despise them. I'm not taking away anyone's 2nd amendment rights. I just think that there needs to be restrictions on. You don't need an AK in your house or a clip that holds 31 rounds. Even the 1st amendment has restrictions. You can't say anything that could cause an immediate panic, i.e. yelling fire in a crowded theatre.

@swampskater So what is it about guns that you despise? I know that AKs are probably very scary to you guys but there is nothing wrong with owning an AK. I own an Ak and I am a law abiding citizen. Now a clip and a magazine are two different things, but I didnt expect you to know that, but yes I agree that 31 rounds is no good. It needs to be at least 33 rounds like the ones I have for my glocks.

@bojanks15 I would say that the only thing wrong with owning an ak is that the magazine empties quickly. There is nothing wrong with owning an ak because they're really not much different from other rifles. Really the only difference between an ak and an ar-10 (which shoots a .308, a tad bit more powerful than ak) is the way it looks. The reason most people are scared of them is because of how they are portrayed in movies and the liberal media. They arent scary at all.

I always see that argument. That's always the good ol' stand-by for the anti-gun crowd. I ask you, however: who gets to decide what the American citizen NEEDS? You don't NEED to have the internet without government oversight and censorship (you won't die if you go without, so it's not a need). Let's pass SOPA, then. You don't NEED automobiles (not a Constitutionally protected right and we did without them for 200 years). Let's ban cars, then.
