Image a work of art that can turn a tragedy into a cause for celebration. That is what the world's first monument to child abuse is designed to do. The memorial features the art of hundreds of child abuse survivors with the beauty of humanity coming through.

  • Thank you so much for creating this.

  • After watching this video a number of times in the past few months the real value, if you could call it that? is that this isn't a monument unveiled by a politician or other dignitary; it is a real part of many peoples lives; and could be a powerful focal point for society if it were mentioned somewhere in the school curriculums to remind, and more importantly alert Children to what this cancerous behaviour is , and its ramifications. Fair play to ye all for the effort, it is most worthwhile.

  • This is a wonderful idea not least braking the silence & taboo. I like the way although it is contributed by survivors it also incorperates childrens work, views & parents & people from elsewhere. I would love to see a monument in every country using the same principles. For there is a place, space and need for it all over the world. Most of us think of monuments as to the dead but this is just as much for the living aswel as remembering those that are sadly no longer with us.
