Congrats Eva La Rue ~ AWM Genii Inspiration Award Recipient 2012 Tribute Film

April 2012: The Alliance for Women in Media, Southern California Chapter, honored Eva La Rue, the recipient of the organization's 2012 Inspiration Award. La Rue is a Southern California native, and has co-starred on CBS TV's CSI: Miami since 2005. The Inspiration Award acknowledges La Rue using her celebrity voice to benefit others in her role as National Spokesperson for the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation.
The Genii Awards salute the outstanding achievements of women in media and entertainment. La Rue received her award at the 55th Annual event held on April 24, 2012 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Other honorees of the 2012 Genii Awards include Actress Rita Moreno for Lifetime Achievement.
The gala benefits AWM SoCal's scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to promising college students who are aiming for careers in the media and entertainment industries.

Past Genii Winners Include: Florence Henderson, Betty White, Mary Hart, Alana Stewart, Ellen Degeneres, Heather Locklear, Jamie Lee Curtis, Candice Bergen, Lucille Ball, Anne Sweeney, Whoopi Goldberg, Carol Burnett, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, and many others.
