Trance Mansion VDay debut party

WOW!

Trance Mansion's debut Monday party was a smashing success.

Despite the cold and balmy weather They came, they heard . . . and they partied their asses off on a Monday night -- showing up the naysayers that there are no prog trance fans in New York to support a regular trance night.

The games were more than just hokey fun. They were a hit. Twister contests spontaneously occurred. Two beauties playing hungry hungry hippos to uplifting trance beats, while others knocked each others' blocks off on Rock em Sockem Robots, were postcard moments.

Another was when Reni jumped into the middle of the dance floor and began her cutsie, off-the-wall, J-pop techno performance, like a Pokemon on fastplay, dragging innocent bystanders into her hi-energy fray (renireni.com).

People were checking into 'Trance Mansion' and meeting on Facebook's Places app. And we hear that our cosplayer guests, witches and anime characters who were moving like madd ravers, had such a good time theyll be bringing more of their costumed friends to our parties.

No attitudes. No pretentions. Just a spectacular night full of PLUR, good vibes, and amazing music.

Who was largely responsible for this? Our threesome of amazing djs of course.

Mass Effect opened the night, intertwining progressive melodies and beats into a warm euphoric web. DJ Ceaz Amaze engineered the highs and lows of a progressive trance roller coaster ride. And DJ Amoure closed us out with a nightcap of soft melodies and slammin beats.

From our long-time supporters to our new friends, I think we all succeeded in bringing that friendly underground vibe to an established lounge like Stay.

Props go out to our photogs and videographers Mikel and John, two pros coming straight to us from Spain. And of course to Stay, for hosting our party every Monday night and letting us crank the beats up on their bran spankin new equipment and deep sound system.

So a big THANK YOU to our guests. And we hope to see more fans who want weekly trance parties to become a permanent fixture in our fair city. Remember, progressive trance every Monday night @ Stay, 244 E Houston St, NYC.
