HOTKID at NXNE 2009

HotKid is a band from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada that has been making their mark on the indie scene for the last couple of years.

On 20 July, Ra Ra (our go-to correspondent who reports on Bangkok's music scene) took a trip home to see HotKid perform at North by Northeast (NXNE). NXNE, an annual international music festival held in Toronto, has been running for the last 15 years.

Ra Ra talks to singer/guitarist Shiloh Harrison about playing NXNE, the music industry in general and her future plans to visit Thailand to play the FAT Festival--the country's premier indie showcase.
