So realistically one has to be aware that, in this country obsessed with wealth and greed, that those areas that have already bought into the walmart philosophy of providing consumers with goods, that it would be difficult to imagine being able to revert to the Mom and Pop business model. Does that mean we shouldn't demand more overall transparency and better treatment

You decide- Read the book "Made in America", the comments by Rob Walton at Walmart website, and then work for them. Observe discretely to document everything to analyze and decide who actually speaks the truth between Walmart, Costco, etc or the labor organizations.
