  • @MetalEngel025 Ja

     sicher!

  • Auf Deutsch ist es viel besser.

  • Piano is too close-on-mike.

  • Love this CD.

  • A grande senhora Jagger/Richards, como o vinho envelhece melhor.

  • so so. the singer and musical accompaniment are not on the same page.

  • @Rishji Yes. But unfortunally, the transfer from the German original (sung by Lotte Lenya, you can listen to it here on youtube) to the adapted, puritanic Amercia ruined it. And this performance is not close to what it could be. Sorry to say. There's no horror in it :)

  • @allesfuerlau it gave her a soul

  • This song, as the rest of "Threepenny Opera" is a song about life in the underbelly, as an outcast. This version is closer to the intent of the song: the beauty and horror of murder in the depths of poverty, where you can take a chance and reach for the beautry and connection of "screwing" only to be murdered.
