I don't support nor encourage anyone to trade in endangered species. My life's vision and the work I do is to promote the preservation and conservation of insect diversity through education and art. I have created and currently support dozens of sustainable development programs that breed butterflies and other insects.

how do i kill the insect?

@adampc22 Try Watkins & Doncaster Naturalists; they are based in Kent and will be able to provide all the equipment that you will need to start collecting insects. You might also consider joining the Royal Entomological Society and/or Amateur Entomologists' Society.

hi i am really wanting to start collecting butterflies and moths but i am from the uk and i am finding it really hard to find any sites online in the uk that sell the tools and equipment need like a pinning board and display cases i was wondering if anybody had any info or advice that could help me ? cheers for your time

@ambam1977 could you give some examples on some species worth "10s of thousands"? Would be interesting if you could go through your own collection, and talk about how much value each specimen is worth.
