This match is from what I call my 'Forgotten Jobber Collection". You always hear about Frankie Williams, Charlie Fulton, Mac Rivera, and others. But Paul Fisher?!!!!

Taped this myself back in '83 and is another of my favorite 'Jobber' matches. Some these days think they are being polite by using the term 'enhancement talent'. This is a jobber. And if you listen close, I think Vince McMahon actually laughs for a moment at how horrible Paul Fisher is. Can't blame Fisher though; Vince used him anyway. This could be extremely rare because it appears it was his only match ever :)

So when wrestling fans out there see really bad talent these days (whether on TV and the indies), imagine if they were around in '83! LOL.

And there's many others to come shortly. Leave feedback and enjoy!

  • wow this is so fake

  • @GBev2K Yeah Paul Fisher. How about Barry Hart?

  • This match is so bad its actuly good .

  • i dont remember intro music pre Hulkamania

  • Jooooooooooe McHugh - your ring announcer :)

  • It takes truly a special talent to be unable to lock up properly.

  • Based on the commentary from Vince I'm guessing this guy thought he was going to be a star one day and Vince put him in there just to show him he wasn't going anywhere in this business. Even Barry O had more stage presence than Paul Fisher.

  • Man Sarge shoulda abused this cat. But I guess he was so bad sarge didn't want 2 risk the match looking any worse.

  • Check out the nerdy girl at 3:48 - she looks like Meg Griffin with a bad perm.

  • @steve0040 They started using that 'X' back in 1972 with the Spoiler. He was wrestling Tomas Marin and he put the claw on him. A second or two later this big 'X' appeared on the screen, but you could see at the bottom of the 'X' where Marin was lying on the mat that he had blood running down his chest. After that, every time the Spoiler used his claw you would see the 'X' whether there was blood or not. They also used it when Baron Von Raschke used his claw in the WWWF back in 1976.
