On an early Friday morning aroung 7:45am, had some free time & decided to head out on a hunt for some waste haulers on commercial trash routes in Sarasota County where I live!!! Even though I had some bad luck for 30 minutes, saw this bagster removal truck from Waste Management & decided to go after it. Thanks to the driver's permission for me of geting this unusual truck for You Tube, So, I decided to film this unusual method from start to finish on 2 whole stops:)!! This unusual combo is a Palfinger/Palift hooklift body on a Sterling LT8500 on/off highway chassis. I believe the crane maybe Palfinger too...was also told that they're 2 units that serve Sarasota County where I live. The chassis is powered by a Mercades MBE900 mid-diesel engine backed by an Allision auto transmission. Not sure what year this combo is, but chances are, its probably a 2009 repainted in Waste Management colors, esp since Freightliner has discontinued the Sterling brand trucks in 2009!!!
NOTE: Thanks to bad sun glares, early morning rushhour traffic between the truck's collection stops & forgeting to charge my camera battery, did some intense footage editing... But this truck was worth the catch!!!!

Wow that was actually really interesting to watch! And I think you did a perfect job with the editing, just showed us what we needed to see :) And you didn't just get one stop either, you got two whole bags being loaded! Awesome work.
I think a dumpster might've been faster (..maybe), but of course the advantage to this system is the resident is able to move the bag around since it's lightweight.
Loved the ending too, thanks for the post!!

Very cool video! But the downside... that seems like an incredibly slow process.

@r6man2 Thanks. Dont know much bout the statistics of this program, but that's the most unusual residential trash method I've ever seen from WM so far...
