Does Medved not realize that Obamacare is a copy of Romneycare?
-
But..... Beck isn't a Republican and doesn't even support anyone simply because they're Republican. Besides that, the man is not a politician. So why are people blaming the problems in the (R) party on him?
-
I like and respect Glenn Beck, but Michael Medved could wipe the floor with him in a debate.

@DaytonaRoadster what is a lobbist?

The fact is that the guy actually has a point, he's just too dumb to know it. The government has never gotten smaller, it always gets bigger whether republicans or democrats are in office. Bush expanded the government, so did Obama, so did Clinton, so did Bush Sr., so did Reagan, so did virtually every single administration for the past 60 years or so. I like Medved, and I think the point he was trying to make was that people like Beck need to stop throwing out slogans and be more educated.

Michael, what matters is examining the Federal Reserve system and ultimately getting rid of it. Both McCain and Obama are champions of massive interventionism, just on different fronts. The welfare and warfare spending will both kill us if we dont end both. I wish Michael understood that.

The way to make the "Republicans" get back to the constitution is to elect more constitutionally conservative candidates in the primaries.
And repeat it it every election cycle.
again
and again
and again
until the party is finally purged of R.I N.O's

Prescription drug benefit, TARP, Auto bailout, No Child Left Behind, Farm Subsidies, dramatic increase in earmarks, and that's not all. Republicans gave us all of that and the inflation to pay for it. We didn't pay $4 a gallon for gas under dictator Bush for nothing. Bush also gave us Obama, who is merely taking over where Bush left off. Medved is a neo-con who ignorantly believes there's a significant difference between the two parties.
Republicans weren't conservative when they were in power. The fact that they vote against spending now doesn't prove anything.

Ah poor Medved. It's really sad when pundits care more about their political party than their own country.
The current "Republicans" in office only stand out because they are against Obama, not defending the Constitution. While Obama's spending is dangerous, it is not the only problem this nation faces.
We need to get rid of both parties. McCain vs. Obama wasn't much of a choice at all.
