Plain and simple, I didn't care for it but I never said everyone should have the same opinion. I have experience from the movie making side but our experiences have little to do with the lyrics of this song do they?

As for they wouldn't choose it if it was meaningless is meaningless because I hear songs on film credits all the time that are there just for filler and have no meaning. Since you think though that it reflects their thoughts, tell me what they are thinking. I want to hear another funny interpretation from a public school literature student meant to impress the teacher about some of the nonsense they are meant to read or hear.
