Automatically turn your photos into amazing 3D models with Autodesk 123D Catch. Capture the world around you in a whole new way! Use this amazing app for free.

-Take up to 40 photos with your iPhone 4/4S or iPad, then submit them to the Autodesk Cloud to automatically convert them into a realistic 3D model that you can view, share, and download

-Touch the screen to set your subject's focus and exposure for best results

-Connect with the 123D Catch Community Gallery to see the amazing captures other users have shared and submit your own!

-Browse the example gallery to get inspired

-Interactive startup guide walks you through the process

-Control your 3D model viewpoint by moving rotating your device or simply use Multi-Touch view controls

-Receive Notification Center alerts when your capture is finished processing

-Email your finished captures to friends or open their 123D Catch projects

-All of your projects are automatically saved to your "My Corner" online at 123dapp.com!

Tips:
-Take sequential photos of your object as you move around it. Try two 360 degree loops of 20 photographs each at different angles to get a more complete model.
-Try a background or tabletop that has non-uniform features for best results. For example, place your object on a newspaper, printed tablecloth or even place sticky notes around your object for best results.
-Avoid transparent, shiny, or reflective objects and backgrounds.

Just wondering, with 123D programs, is there an option to make the model hollow for 3D printing so it's cheaper?

I think Cubify allows you to do that... They let you export your generated 3d model as an .obj. But I'm not sure, you'll have to check it out yourself.

Mac is better with graphics? Is that why a lot of Autodesk products don't support Mac? Yet almost every one of them supports Windows?

And it's not Android's fault if there are lots of low-end devices. The high-end Androids are much more capable than the iPhone.

By the way, the operating system on the iPhone is called iOS, not Mac.

I understand perfectly that you're trying very hard to get that 3D printing out there and make it a reality, but i'm a 3d designer and i would love to be able to 1. catch whatever item i want, clean it up in sculpt take it to creature and give it a rig and be able to export it to my favorite 3d program... you have the tools, you have the know how, we have the devices... please can you make it a reality for future versions?
