@ny89mike this may be a rumor but while I was at Appalachian State University I heard that some scuba divers from the college took a dive to see how deep this hole was, their equipment could only handle up to like 150 ft and they had to quit. Im also from the area and Ive heard old timers say its 95 ft. Deep enough to take a jump off of, I did it 12 times and thats enough for me!!
60 ft plunge I will not do any more!!

My family is from there. Not really sure how deep. It's a sink hole. ALOT of water snakes in that cave they're landing in front of though!!
