saw this at the food show in nyc.. there are no perforations on the bottom, only sides and top and they hold the same weight inside and when staked as a normal pizza box. The women I met from Greenbox graduated with a masters from columbia. It is enviro friendly cutting down on plates n leftover storage and makes life a lil more convenient I am looking forward to seeing in my pizzaria!

It's not a product to be sold. All pizza boxes are made this way, it's been like such for 30 years. It is purely non-profit and this is just an example on how you can make this recycable; and for those who accuss a cardboard box of not being recycable. This is just to save the waste of paper plates due to the fact paper plates are a hugh landfill generator. Now the box can be used as a replacement of paper plates and still shows how can it store the leftover pizza.

There is a reason boxes have perforation only on the edges and specifically certainly not on the bottom of the box. What a retard. This box couldn't hold a whole pizza's weight. Not to mention unless the pizza is flat as a pancake, it will squish when stored in the half-sized box. This will never work. They won't sell them, and they wasted money on the patent application process.

well lets forget about the cardboard box and think about all the paper/plastic plates it can save for people who don't want to do the dishes... for people who do use dinner plates, think about the soap and hot water saved over time from not having to clean them. i know it may not seem like much, but the potential savings will add up if you consider all the pizzas being made out there.
