Yeah that building opened and closed in six months and sat empty for a few years before it became a HD dealer . If you want to come to the land that time forgot come to Coeur d alene or if you want to get shot by a cop move to Spokane just down the road.

@harrysins yes, it was not as pretty as it looked on camera. I got to the lake and swam and it did seem a bit dirty and smelly. With more people it will just get worse.

I lived in Coeur D' Alene my entire life then all of a sudden cost of living out grew the pay of the average job. No logging jobs. Developers destroyed the look of the area. Sadly I had to leave CDA to get a good paying job but still have family there. I do not know what good jobs they are talking about but unless you want to make minimum being a line cook at the resort for the rest of your life, put up with snobby tourist and share an apartment with someone then this is the place to be.

Wow. The last time I heard an uninformed line of bullshit like this I ended up buying a case of sham-wow's. First, the Western States building that magically appeared in less than 3 months has been under construction for 18 months. Second, the average spring temperature is substantially less than 70 degrees. Our snowfall last year was 96" instead of the 60" you claim. It seems to me you actually managed to put less work into your research than you did into the video...
