First ever performance, so this is a bit rough: I made a few mistakes with the words, people were chatting at the far end of the bar, and the piano is super old and janky. But I enjoyed myself!

Full lyrics (changed slightly since writing):

Hey Luke, Hey you,
How you doing today?
I'm fine, how do you do?
What more can I say?

I know your face,
But your name has slipped my mind.
It was in here once I guess
But I've left it far behind.

Did I see you in a juggling show?
Did we meet at a party years ago?
We're friends on Facebook, that I know,

But there's a thousand of you there
And I ignore most of you there

Hey Luke, hey you,
Your name I can't recall.
How long can I get away without
saying your name at all.

You know my name,
It's easy for you to remember
Yes the force is strong in me,
And yes you are my Father.

The star wars jokes are handy for you.
Do you have a bad joke about your name too?
Can you drop a small hint, to help me through,

Because my brain has farted again
Your name's departed again

Hey Luke, hey you,
Quick I need a plan
I say we should stay in touch,
Let's hang out sometime, man.

Take out, my phone,
And pass it over to you
Hey, just type in your number please,
And of course your full name too.

But you pass it back and say, just email me.
You can find my address quite easily
Just google my name, and soon you'll see.

But I don't know your name at all
Bang my head against the wall
I feel just two inches tall

Here comes an old friend,
with another name I've forgot
Please, please, when you greet each other
Say each other's names a lot.

Oh shit, you're not friends,
And you both look to me.
I say "Introduce yourselves."
And I listen in closely.

Oh that's right Tine, and that's right Ted,
It's so obvious now once they're clear in my head,
Hey Tine, didn't I once spend a night in your bed?

Yeah, it was a drunken one night stand
And in the morning you took my hand
And said hey luke last night was fun
And I said... nothing, your name had simply gone

And there was a birthday card standing up on a high shelf
And I twisted my head covertly to read it myself
The words inside weren't that clear to me
But I made them out finally

Hey wait, just wait,
Who the hell is Christine?
I though your name was something else,
Something shorter, I mean.

And so, I just say,
Thank you for last night.

"Hey.... Tine
that's short for Christine, right?"

You'd think that if I'd had sex with you,
I'd remember your name, but that's not true.
It was gone the next morning, but bluffed my way through

And I forgot it here once again
It's a constant source of pain.
I know your face but not your name!
