-
shit !
-
@Adrian0rocks0 change the crank bearings and connecting rods and pistons. done
-
Ok for you idiots out there, there is no such thing as a 6th gen prelude. It only went up to 5gen and that's all..the dash is a 5th gen prelude dash and yes an h22 can handle high rpms especially with a really good skunk2built head. Now i know most people are going to argue that they know really well and its impossible but if your really down for working on cars then you will find a way to hit past 9k rpms cuz obviously this dude did
-
I get to the point. Wajalama what are you smoking buds? f20 in prelude?? not stock. Clearly this guys engine is heavily modified, when ur in 9000+rpm you need valvetrain work... Look at my prelude with stock head 7500rpm redline fuel cut 7680 to prevent damage to engine. and waja you work in a shop? you dont know what your talking about! "honda s2k engine only works with the 11.0.1 ratio" clearly you dont know jack. keep quiet you noob. turbo s2k on 11.0.1 NOO you can increase and lower compress
-
@wajalama Yeah, probably on some preludes. especially if they're older
-
@Foxx488 In that, case, I stand corrected. But still, wouldn't you think that revving up to 9,000 rpms on stock internals is pushing it?
-
@wajalama oh, and also, there were a few preludes that came stock with an F-series motor, I've worked on them before, swapping clutches and trannys, but I also doubt you have any idea which type motor is actually compatible with the 9.5.1 compression ratio that allows it to rev up to higher rpms without major damage. The honda s2k engine only works with the 11.0.1 ratio, which incidentally, is what this actually looks like. -the 2.2 VTi (euro) engine, which would also explain the Km/h spedo.
-
@wajalama k, first off, there is no 6th gen prelude, it went for 5 generations, and 2. Obviously you don't have very much experience with preludes, and in the garage I work at, we did many experimental projects, and actually converting a Prelude to RWD is very simple, and it's even easier to make a Prelude AWD, so yes, it's quite easy. Do some research, or actually have experience with working on them, before you start spouting off false information. thank you
-
@Foxx488 Judging from the car's dash, I can tell that it's a 6th gen. Prelude SH. But no Prelude, even if they have some similarities with the S2000's block, can rev up to 9000 rpms without damaging something. It's just stupid to even try it.

@imy2k07 Evidently you have no idea how much money you need to build this car. Try to look on prices of parts :)
Only the price of parts is more than 20000 euro.
