This improvisation sprang from the genius of Pierre Cochereau at a recital he gave at Notre Dame on February 10, 1974. It was recorded by Francois Carbou, and Jeremy Filsell has performed the excruciatingly complex task of transcribing it.
Filsell recorded several of these transcriptions on the magnificent IV/88 JW Walker at Liverpool's Roman Catholic cathedral in March, 2000.
Martin Doering of Die Orgelseite is responsible for many of the superb photographs, as are some young guerillas called Urban Exploration -- who apparently have no fear of heights, and who spend a great deal of time crawling over the rooftops of Paris, taking breathtaking photos.
BRAVO!
