Okay, ummm, this is the Haida Song, like the title says. We were on the choir trip and started singing this on the bus and decided to record it in the hotel where the sound quality would be better. We sang this in choir three years ago, so that's why we don't sound the greatest. (And we apologize for when we were off pitch a bit - we were tired, and I know that I was sick, but yeah...) And we didn't do it exactly round style because that's EXTREMELY hard to do with one person on each part in this song. Believe me. We tried. Many times. And failed miserably. We originally had one more girl, but she had to leave early, so yeah. Normally this song has only two parts (the first two parts we sing), but since we only had three people and the groups would be uneven, we made up a third part. - K

P.S.
Can you guess where we are? Lol!

P.P.S.
In the really fast parts at the end, watch the girl in the white t-shirt's head. It does the tennis-match-watching thing. It's much better on the fast-forward on the camera, but I wasn't able to get it that fast. Oh well. Lol!

  • You guys are in an elevator!

  • @honeydear8 Haha, yes! It was a lot of fun because we kept scrambling to hide the camera and the ice bucket we were setting it on whenever the elevator started to move. One of the chaperones caught us in there and was really confused about what we were doing in the elevator, but he didn't do anything about it. =) - K

  • @SperzieBone This particular song is a traditional Nigul of Northern European Jews and has absolutely nothing to do with Haida people or culture of Canada, BC or Alaska. There is no reason for you to take offense. Do your own research before you start telling anyone to "F" off.

Great job, ladies. Singing from the heart. Love the inventive new part.

  • @teranina Thank you!!! =D - K

  • I find this very offensive

    Being a Haida myself

Fuck u and every other white person that sings this song

I don't care if u sing it in choir at home or even just to sing for fun

    Do your research busta's

  • @SperzieBone I'm sorry you felt degraded. - K

  • im doing this for choir

  • @SperzieBone "Haida," in addition to being an indegenous group in Canada, is also a nonsense word in Yiddish. Words cross over in all sorts of languages. How can you find an entire language and culture to be offensive just because it contains a word that is that same as your cultural group? Talk about cultural insensitivity. You're the one that needs to do some research.

  • what the fuck.. no.. fucking white people..

  • @SperzieBone you're such a fucking asshole. its a song that they teach people in elementary school. get the fuck out of here

  • @SperzieBone I'm sorry you find this offensive. I can assure you that wasn't our intention in the slightest. This was just a song we had sung in 6th grade and enjoyed and that we decided to sing on this choir trip for fun. It was not our intention to be disrespectful in any way. And we were not aware that it was necessary for us to do research before we sang it. Is it necessary to research every song, or is it possible to just sing a song and enjoy it for its own musical value?

  • @skyfriroxursox Thank you! And that's awesome! =D - K

  • @AsianDorksable Cool! I hope you have fun with it! =D - K

  • @dyolipa3 Oh, no! We sang this in our fifth or sixth grade choir. We just made up the third part for the round. =) - K

  • @dyolipa3

    Cool! =D - K

  • @Chihi101

so, we added the third part. I'm sorry you didn't like it, it was literally thought up in probably about three minutes. =) - K

  • @Chihi101

Haha, yeah, I didn't feel like taking the time to edit my hand out. And I think this was back before I really knew much about video editing, so it may have even been that it didn't cross my mind. Sorry! And about the third part - we originally had four people singing this, but one of the girls had to go home early. We didn't want to have the parts unbalanced with more people on one part and we'd fall apart whenever we tried to sing it as a round with three people instead of two,
