HD PVR Quality Comparison

This is a small quality comparison for the HD PVR.

Hauppauge HD PVR:

The first clip is Bungie.net's Standard Def. Render.
Second is HD PVR 1280x720 Progressive
3rd is HD PVR 1920x1080 Interlaced

IF your monitor isnt full HD (1920x1080), or more, then the 1080 will actually look similar/worse then the 720. Interlaced is not recommended for video games, and Youtube downgrades quality a little bit, so keep that in mind.

@VVVmedia The sound quality won't change unless you use digital audio instead of the red and white audio cables. The only way it might be slightly better is by using a better brand of cable, obviously a monster cable will sound better then a old/cheap one.

@braedon218 Yes, and they 720p but have a little bit of a quality drop compared to the HD PVR.

That 1280x720 isn't in normal size, or it would fit the screen.

@BlindFireSniper Um im watching it in 360p, the 640x360 render audio is crap then watching the 1280x720 hd pvr render you can tell how much difference in audio.
