KJV-only Movement is by far the worst blasphemy in Christendom: its goal is to gaol the Real Bible in favor of a flawed translation based on a Catholicized emendation of real Bible text. So the liars hawking KJV-only get rich off ignorant, lazy sheep who don't trust the Holy Spirit's Teaching Power. Instead, they want to oooh & ahhh over the ponderous English letters. The new Kabbalah!

Same as back in 2nd century AD. As a result, the Word was trapped for nearly 1000 years; in the mid-1800's it was finally freed; so now anyone can learn ALL of God's Words for free. To the extent you desire, God enables you to learn His Words, John 14:26.

Hence Satan's out to kidnap Scripture, yet again. The primary wolves now are Wilkinson (who was used to fuel its current popularity), Chick, Gipp, Hovind, Ruckman, Riplinger, among others. The wolves, of course, cannot read Bible's ancient text, as KJV errors have been proven for centuries. KJV is based on one of the most flawed of Bible original-language "mss", the Textus Receptus (covered in Parts 3+). The translators thus apologized for the flaws in their preface to the KJV for 1611, linked above. But so did Erasmus, the guy who created the TR: in Part 3 you'll see he admitted there were errors.

As time passed, people longed to get a full reliable text. So, God answered their prayers in the mid-1800's. Thousands of people were involved in the collation project, from all over the world, in every denomination: nothing like it had happened, since the first century AD.

For God's Preservation Promise is this: somewhere within the 25,000 "witnesses" (=copies of original Bible we now have), at least one will be a perfectly preserved copy of the original words God gave. Is it hard work? Naw, but the forensic work is tedious. Linguistically, it's often easy to prove what's God's Word & what's not. 90% or more of the texts are identical; errors & anachronisms stick out, as you'll see in Parts 3 & 4 of this KJV-only Blasphemy series.

So God preserves not only His Word, but the history of its being attacked. You can SEE proof of God & Satan 'playing out', via this struggle over the texts. Very helpful, since the KJV-only movement is yet another attack, designed to undo God's Freeing of the original-language texts in the 1800's.

You view of Holy Scripture is perverted at the core. When you begin with the precept that only the original Scriptures carry inspiration you are soon ship wrecked in the sea of "higher criticism" . Which is if nothing else, criticism of Holy Scripture...May God open your eyes...

@rustysruger THE BIBLE SAYS only the original words are inspired, Hebrews 4 and Matthew 4. Argue with God, you who hates Him so much. All KJVO hate God. They impose on God a standard which demands that He FAIL to preserve His ORIGINAL WORDS given to Moses, the prophets, Christ and the apostles.

God will spank you so hard for lying against His Word, even the Catholics and the Calvinists will fare better at the Judgment Seat of Christ, than you stinking, horrible, DESPICABLE KJVO.
