Alekum Salam, The boat you see is now in Oman. I was the builder but the owners of the Boat Yard is the Al Fairuz family. I can put you in contact with them after the Ramazan fast is over. Please remind me again I will email you soon.

Hi, I was just the builder quite some time ago, It is in Oman, it maybe used in the gulf of Oman and Indian Ocean. As for the fish, I have a recollection that they were going for Tuna.
Regards,
Tuanie.
P.S. There are two more of these vessels ex stock in the boat yard I worked in, I can put you through to the owner if you are interested.

You make it all look so easy with a 6 minute slide show. How long did it actually take? Lovely looking boat.....

Hi,
Glad you showed interest in the building of the vessel. I had only 4 carpenters to build the plug, which was the best part I enjoyed. It took Just two and a half months to build the plug. We had difficulty in finding people to finishing and spray painting it, in this part of the world so there was a further delay of one and a half month. Producing the Mould and vessel proper was another story, that took about six months. I will have to look into my photos and verify.
