Are we living in the final generation? Is the Lord about to rapture the Church sending the world into great tribulation? The signs seem to to be pointing in that direction. Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time is running out!

  • and false doctrine is more prevalent and readily accessible than ever because of its availability through the internet. Search for the origins of the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine. Why was this not in the church until the 1800's? Why is it that when you read the early church fathers there is no mention of Christians not being here when the antichrist comes to power? (for example see 'A Dictionary of Early Christian Beliefs', edited by David Bercot). Something is very wrong here, folks.

  • @JohnnyDoe1012 that's not true at all, plenty of mention of the pre-tribulation rapture mention in the early church, but I won't argue with you.

  • So a bronze aged myth of a guy checking goats entrails for messages from god is what you plan your future on? Hilarious.

  • @tmalone10 where have you found these quotes? I'm open to being wrong on this part but not without definitive proof. I've read pages and pages of quotes from the early church fathers looking for this position but each one I've read refers to the saints in the last days standing firm against the antichrist.

  • to every Christian reading this, please carefully examine this doctrine from both sides through the lens of Scripture and not by what your pastor says. The fact that the Left Behind series sold so well over the past couple of decades should be a red flag given that American Christianity today is the most Biblically illiterate generation this world has known since the Dark Ages. Today there is little to no emphasis on repentance, holiness, or reading the Bible for yourself in most churches...

  • @ButteWhat you cannot have it both ways. Either He's returning once (post-trib rapture) or twice (pre-trib rapture)..

  • @ButteWhat I'll stick with the Bible as far as teachings go. I do not take the word of man over the word of God. Pre-trib rapture= 1st return of Christ. You quote where Jesus says He goes to prepare a place for us and then comes back for us as being supportive of your position and then say He's only returning once? John 14:3 says He will come back again and receive us. If He comes back to whisk away His church before the great tribulation then He returns once, and then again. Hence twice.

  • @ButteWhat brother (or sister), I'm sorry but you need to know how to interpret the Word from the original languages. Blueletterbible . org for example has the words in the original Hebrew and Greek from which the Bible is translated, and the Rev 19:14 you quoted only mentions armies. This is not definitive proof that it is the saints only, and even if it is then this does not prove the pre-trib rapture by itself.

  • @JohnnyDoe1012..the Holy Spirit will not stop His ministry but God will use the 144,000 and 2 witness's. In Rev 19:14 it says the army returning in clean, white linen, that can only be the Saints. There is only 1 return of Christ but he meets us in the air prior to the Trib 1st Thess 4:16. Also check out Ed Hindson's teaching will church go thru Tribulation on here.

  • @ButteWhat I should add that Rev 19:14 could possibly include all of the saints that fell asleep in the Lord previously since this is the battle of Armageddon. But it primarily refers to angels and not saints. And where in this verse does it indicate that this is Jesus' 2nd return? Not His second coming, but His 2nd return. If pre-trib is correct then He returns twice. Scripture indicates one return and only one.
