Autumn Comfort

11/29/2009 Update: Realized that I shot this at 24 fps and was exporting it and had the file setting set to 30fps, so I wasn't the right kind of HD. Special thanks to Brendenpr21 and IceFlowStudios for helping me figure this one out!

Just some footage from my brand new Canon HV40.

Not color corrected at all.

Can't tell what I think about the quality. I guess I'm going to try to do a couple private uploads with different export settings and see what happens.

Hey! How are you loving your HV40? If I hadn't bought a HV20 a few years back I definitely would have bought this one. It's an amazing camera.

What settings are you exporting your video with?

Woah dear! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I never got a notification about this comment.

Honestly, I can't remember. All I can tell you for sure was that I shot in 24p, but when I uploaded it to Sony Vegas, I didn't set the project settings to 24p, so the footage wasn't full quality. As far as the export, maybe 4 mps HD in .wmv format? But don't quote me on that.
