Dead lizards do not disprove evolution

Assuming it is approved, this is a video response to VenomFangX.

Also note that I'm not an atheist or agnostic, but a Christian who believes in evolution.

You say you are a Christian that believes in evolution.

Evolution disproves the Bible.

Man evolved, there was no creation event.

No Adam and Eve, Talking Snake, Whirling Sword of Fire or Original Sin.

Without Original Sin, you are not "Born Sinful".

Jesus had no sin to pay for on the cross.

Christians can not believe in evolution because evolution removes the entire foundation of Christianity.

Christians must believe the Earth is 6,000 years old, that snakes can talk, and virgins can give birth.

@legion1a Evolution doesn't disprove the Bible. The creation story is a metaphor and was never intended to be taken as a literal, historical account. Read up on theistic evolution please, also read up on literary devices and techniques. Did you ever take English classes in high school? Not everything you read in a book is literal.

What do you mean how do we know it was evolving? We have transitional fossils that trace all the way back to this creature. The fact that we don't know exactly what it looked like with skin and everything doesn't mean evolution is false. We don't know what Jesus looked like, but that doesn't prove he was false either, now does it?

God did it is not an answer. Again another crime example. Your friend is murdered. You go to the police and ask them to help you catch the murderer. They say, oh we already know who did it. God did it. It was God's will that he die. Case closed.

Wow how satisfying. I'm sure civilization would be well served if we had police that worked like this.

Why would the Bible give an account of evolution? Today in the 21st century, after a century and a half of research and education, most people STILL don't understand evolution at all. Putting it in the Bible would have just confused people.

And the fact that God created each animal according to its kind does not mean God couldn't have created them THROUGH evolution. Saying that it couldn't have happened is putting an enormous limit on his power.

But where in the Bible does it give any indication of evolution other than the fact that God created the animals?

Think about this:The Bible tells us that God CREATED each animal according to its kind. Meaning the fish was created to swim, the birds were created to fly, the land creatures were created to roam the earth. If these animals just evolved from each other, then God has absolutely no part in this process because evolution is a NATURAL process.Therefore, it does not require God.

I believe the Bible, just like every other book that's ever been written, contains figurative language.

How are you are Christian and yet believe in evolution? Is the Genesis account of creation not satisfactory enough when it says that on the fifth and sixth day, God created ALL the living creatures. I'm not trying to oppose you or say you're a bad Christian. I'm just trying to correct you because the Bible clearly tells us that God created ALL living creatures; not just some and that those evolved over time.
