well, what else can we say about saarbrücken.

okay, i know. saar is the river that the city is built around. saarbrücken is a little more than a thousand years old. it got mostly bombed away when the americans decided to level the country after making as much money as they could during the war. with fanta orange and ibm and all the other businesses.

but let's not talk war. the germans bounced back nicely after the war. and now they are an important part of europe. they have some brilliant technology and may even make it big with cars that don't use fossil fuel.

saarbrücken is not a rich city. many buy those gas waiting big cars anyway. to see if they can burn up our air faster. not all of them are dumb though. many take street cars or bikes.

some walk.

and whatever.

oh, and brücken means bridges. so the city name is the name of the river, saar, and brücken, bridges. they even have a bridge that doesn't have roads going anywhere.

just another throw money away deals. every city does that.
