RowaPhos is great for phosphate removal in Saltwater Aquariums. I must admit though, the first time I used it I was kinda at a loss as to the best way to implement it into my aquarium. I ended up buying a fluidized reactor, and needed to learn how to flush the RowaPhos before adding it to the aquarium filtration.

I've devised a simple way to mount the reactor, full of fresh RowaPhos onto the side of a 5 gallon bucket to flush out the bulk of the brown color before hooking the reactor up to the aquarium each time I reload the RowaPhos. Here's how I do it.
