It's not a fair comparison at all - only by price. I'd compare the Escalade to a Navigator. I'd say a Range Rover, but obviously the Range Rover is much higher class. IMHO, the Escalade is junk, like all American cars, the build quality is terrible and they're overall unreliable. Personally, I'd buy an Infiniti QX56, Mercedes GL550, Audi Q7 Prestige, or Lexus LX570 with my $90,000. To the previous commenter, the reason Japanese cars are smaller is because the people are overall healthier.

Cadillac is the best suv in the world , i am an american and would take a american car that barely run before i would take a brand new toyota, any way toyota shouldnt even sell cars they should go back to eating twinkies and sumo wresling, my dad has never owned anything but a gm car and my grandma has toyota ,toyotas have no room because there made for japeneze not americans all gm trucks/suvs/croossovers have plenty of room for me and my family ,you wonder why our economy is so bad its bcuz t

You can't compare a Cadillac to a Toyota. So what if a Toyota last longer and is more reliable. People who buy Cadillac's don't walk in a dealership like people who buy Toyota's, and say this Cadillac is going to last me for 25 years.Except my grandmother who has a '92 DeVille brought it brand new and 20 years later is still driving it....lol a lot people can afford a Toyota not everyone can afford a Cadillac.

After owning Toyotas for the past 23 years my family will never buy Toyota again. We purchased our last Toyota a 2011 Camry and its been the worst car ever. Hands down escalade for me. We have owned/ own Cadillac, Jeep, Chevrolet, Buick too.
