Allegheny Valley Railroad along Streets Run

AVR 2007 (GP-11) shuttles a lonely covered hopper upgrade along Streets Run Rd. in Baldwin, PA. This is the mid-day run (AVR-3) southbound from AVR's Glenwood yard on the Monongahela River towards the Bruceton interchange with the Wheeling and Lake Erie.
I hear him blowing down the four crossings every day while I'm at work, and I couldn't stand it any longer. I HAD to skip out for a while and catch him on video. Fortunately, the AVR is typically friendly to (and tolerant of) compulsive railfans. :)

Love the AVR and hope to see it crossing the mon on the glenwood railroad bridge when i visit...do you know the times it enters/leaves glenwood?

I cant tell you exactly because it's a little different every day. I know it runs Mon-Fri. I hear it leaving anytime between 8-11am, so if you want to see it then, you'll just have to sit and be patient. Evening return to Glenwood is usually more regular, between 5-6pm. Streets Run Rd. is the best place to see it. Good luck!

Wow, that is good RS5T! I prefer the older ones better though. I've seen this unit sitting in the way back of Glennwood in the past. I havent caughten any AVR yet but hpoefully soon
