In the second part of her presentation on Persian henna, Catherine explains how the traditional techniques can be deduced from examining ancient Persian art.

This presentation is based on Catherine's paper on Persian henna traditions and techniques which was her final independent research project before starting work on her doctoral dissertation. We'll post additional excerpts in the coming weeks.
