Barbarians: Episode #39 Mirror Mirror

In episode #39, Mirror Mirror, Kirk, McCoy, Scotty and Uhura get beamed to a 'mirror' universe populated by barbarians, and their counterparts are beamed to the 'normal' universe.

So the barbarians get spotted right away and thrown in the brig but the civilized crew is able to figure out and solve the problem and get back to their own ship, and plant the seeds of change too!

So in our current political situation, who are the barbarians and who are the civilized ones.

Yeah - I wonder what Mirror Uhura would have been like

I love the brief depiction of the alternate Kirk & co. Shatner played the alternate universe Kirk very well. It would"ve been great to see a few more scenes from their perspective in the brig, snarling, plotting, & referencing their history. The contrast would"ve been...fascinating.

This is my favorite TOS episode, my favorite scene in that episode, and Kirk uttered one of my favorite lines in the series.

"I always thought Spock was a bit of a pirate at heart."

Oh, and I love Spock's little speech right there at the end. <3

The only problem I didn't like about this clip was that it never expanded the chacters of Mirror Kirk, Uhura, Scott and McCoy.

I wish they wud've done this from the Empires perspective like "In a Mirror Darkly" from Enterprise. But my favourite episode from season 2 anyways!
