Voter at Oklahoma Townhall: "Im Ashamed of the Democrats & Obama"

One of the 3 high lights at Dan Boren's 8/18/2009 town-hall meeting in McAlester, OK:

A voter tells Congressman Dan Boren (D-OK) that she's ashamed of the Democrats & Obama. Apparently Boren didn't like what she said as he responded defensively. It sounded like most of the audience did not like how he responded in defense of Obama.

Dan Boren is the only democrat serving in US congress representing Oklahoma. He represents district 2 which is mostly conservative.

It's no telling where Obama was at when he was a kid. I guess the gist was that he was NOT here in the U.S. & that he & b Boren don't have a clue about the history of medicare & that folks actually paid into the system.

Yes, Rep. Boren I respect the office of the president too. However I do not respect what the current president and his cabinet are doing. And that's turning America into a socialist country.

Okies (I can say Okie because my parents are from Oklahoma) can tell it like it is. And in no uncertain terms.

Boren may be an honorable guy, but bipartisanship, in my mind, is dead. I can not, and will not, vote for a Democrat in for any office again. This administration is proof positive that the Republicans(although useless) are the lesser of the two evils. Inaction is preferrable to destruction.
