These bounty hunters were the key... they were given money by the US for "turning in" terrorists. Rather they turned in anyone who looked the part. Then the US would peddle these terrorists to the media and their own citizens to show that the war on terror was real. Both parties won, only a few bystanders no one cared about were being screwed over. Most of the Guamtanamo detainees are as innocent as you and I.

Every single person involved in even THINKING about rewriting the "evidence" should be immediately thrown in jail for life. That is a HUGE attack upon our system of justice.
We are being destroyed from within, and the only way to start turning this around is to impeach .

Divided we Fall people... can we Stand United?
That is the only way to change the course we are on. If you were on a Bus and the driver was running people over and smiling about it. Wouldnt you yell STOP! or actually try to physically stop it from happening? In this case we somehow dont see the urgency but if the guys driving this "bus" hink we will just jump off and let them continue or die as they crash it into a wall, they got another thing coming. Let US STAND 2gther WE CAN MAKE CHANGE.

This story does confirm with Yahoo/AP news:

How can the prosecution be allowed to re-write their evidence? This smells to high heaven. This is completely wrong, especially after they've tortured these guys into a confession.

I could not believe this - rewriting the evidence. If this is true, this is completely unbelievable.

I have found I've had to re-word some of my messages sometimes so that they would post. I have no idea what seems to trigger that.
From what I've seen on the net, there are a lot of upset voter on a number of issues. The torture one is probably one of the worst. If they can kidnap people from anywhere in the world, not charge them with a crime, disregard habeas corpus, torture people until they confess to something and execute them, I think this is a total disregard for human life.

The Declaration of Independence clearly states that "We the People" have the right and duty to abolish any government that works to destroy our liberties. We unite and we can change things, if we all can vote to make our reps know we mean business, then we all can march to do it ourselves. They are part of the government that has already destroyed the bill of rights... all of them are gone now. Because you voted for someone different on Idol and he's a Pats Fan..or whatever. Unity=Freedom
Good coverage. It seems there is no hope that even a shred of ethics will surface within the Bush Admin. It's easy to see why they fought to keep these cases out of the daylight.
