Deadly Tsunami 12/26/04 Footage Phuket Amazing video

This video comes from a camcorder on the day of that deadly tsunami ... tragically enough there is footage of an old couple getting swept away to their death.

They had each other in their arms...it must have felt like being miles apart.

people act differently during these types of anomalies; i wasn't there so I can't judge anyone who was. It's a terrible truth in life.

Nobody could help that couple and most likely they did not survive the ferocious amount of water that was coming at them, really shocking footage.Who ever found themselves outside that hotel would most probably be dead.

Just makes watching these types of video and the after effect etc make more sense and actually helps when i know for sure about who was in them etc rather than assume. I find it incredible the old guy lived to be honest when other people such as a 15 year old girl unnamed, i saw in a far safer situation than most people who lived, didnt make it. I like to watch things but know the facts to. This event was horific enough to justify that thinking.

Same with anyone else who may still wonder or not know, The old man from the old couple you see Fredrik try to rescue but they got swept away, lived. His wife was found dead sadly. Ive done alot of research and books and videos to see what actually happened to alot of the people i watch on youtube and other Tsnami clips, just out of interest and thats how i know about Malcolm and his wife and the guy who tried rescue them. Obviously most have no records but the ones who have, i know about.

@gsuvajac I know your comments 1yr old but just to say the man who was trying to help the old couple before they got swept away was Fredrik Bornesand, after the water had gone back Fredrik went searching for that same couple u see him try to help here and found the old man whos name is Malcolm Boyd. When Fredrik found Malcolm he was almost dead but Malcolm Boyd actually survived. His wife you see in this video hanging onto him sadly didnt make it and was found dead :o( . Incase u still wonder.

It makes my gut rench with hurt when i think about that old couple. I was trying to find out from the first time i saw the footage after boxing day 2004. after the doc shown on channel 4 tonight, it looks as if the guy survived but his wife did not make it. so so sad.
