As much as I really like Vampiro's disturbingly screwed up character and think he executed it perfectly...that accent does NOT work well with his persona. A Mexican gangster vampire is quite out of place..

Like wCw would have permitted some wrestler to blade himself, even for ratings. I liked wCw, but copying the gimmick of WWF's Brood ( the red liquid/ "blood") was bound to fail.

They tried to make Vampiro into a wannabe Sting which was stupid because Vampiro was doing the vampire/goth gimmick long before Sting started wearing the coprse paint, during the 80s Vampiro had that same look when he was wrestling in Mexico as El Vampiro.
