Transference of Spirits: Spiritual Warfare

When Jesus Christ gave his commission to his disciples he clearly told them to verbally cast out devils in his name and lay hand on the sick. These commands were specific.

you know i am so happy i saw this because earlier i went to a pentecostal church which ive never been 2 b4 and they were doing just this that you said laying on the hands of the head and a woman fell on the floor and was convulsing and ive never seen anything like that i mean up close and the pastor a woman started coming into the crowd and something told me back up no dont let her touch you and thank god i didnt cause i felt the evil! and i got outta there.

Smart move. Laying on of hands is one of the foundational principles of the doctrines of Christ. (Hebrews 6:1,2) But because people are not taught properly from scriptures regarding this doctrine, many of God's children are being oppressed with all kinds of demonic spirits in many churches. Brother Glover, I experienced exactly what you are talking about, when someone laid hands on me two months ago unclean spirits were transferred onto me and I am still fighting in prayer, fastings, and scripture reading to overcome them. Praise God for His Holy Spirit who intercedes for us on our behalf, and His holy angels who minister grace to His saints. I would like to ask you to lift up my name in prayer for my complete deliverance. I learned a very hard lesson and I am humbled by it.

Amen! I was just discussing this with my sunday school class not long ago & pointed out this very same point, that we do not & should not lay hands on anyone to cast out a demon. That these preachers who do it r either sadly misled or r possessed themselves. Many argued with me over this, they truly believe that u r supposed to lay hands to cast out spirits. The laying on of hands is one of the major foundational doctrines of the church according to Hebrews 6:1-2. We must have understanding or Satan will deceive. God Bless

As a believer use your Authority in the name of Jesus. ...The only thing i can assume is that you may not have been spiritually well at the time of the event that you state. I dont know if you waited for the prompting of the Holy Spirit to minister deliverance to others like you mention the 'Lord sent them out' we are given the Authority but we have to wait to be sent out!! I dont think that this is about the laying of hands but rather about disobediencde, *Maybe you were not suppose to be there at all*

If the presence of the spirit of God is inside of you and as its written 'what has the Light to do with the dark'...the Light is within you so the darkness cannot come, it can try but it cannot come

Just wanted to ask if you are sealed with the Holy Spirit....Sealed! how can a eveil spirit transfer unto you or your life?...Didnt the Lord say 'who tha Son sets free is free indeed' once delivered and sealed with the Spirit of God what gap would a evil spirit have to re-enter your life.
